No Experience Needed

Learn to sail

Never sailed before? No problem. You’ll learn the ropes (literally) in the calm, clear waters of the Caribbean, guided by an experienced Captain and First Mate. By the end of the trip you’ll be crewing a 40ft yacht with real confidence.

Life Onboard

Your crew becomes family

Everyone pitches in as a team, hoisting sails, cooking meals, and keeping the yacht shipshape. You’ll share a cabin with others of the same gender, though most nights you’ll want to sleep under a sky full of stars. It’s simple living, teamwork, and the open sea.

Adventure & Mission

Explore and serve

When we’re not sailing, we’re exploring: hiking to island viewpoints, snorkelling reefs, and wandering vibrant towns. Ashore, we roll up our sleeves for mission projects, feeding families in need, running kids’ camps, and sharing the Gospel alongside local churches.

Beneath the Surface

Meet the marine life of the Caribbean

Swim with sea turtles, drift over coral reefs, and explore shipwrecks with a snorkel and mask. And next summer every camper gets to try a Discover Scuba dive as part of the trip, weather and medical conditions permitting. God’s creation doesn’t stop at the waterline.

Faith & Growth

Anchored in Jesus

This is more than a trip. Over twelve days you’ll discover who you are in Christ, face down fears and doubts, and step into your God-given potential. Devotions at sunrise, worship under the stars, and friendships that last a lifetime.

Genuinely love others well

“My husband and I, along with our 18-year-old son, Kairo, spent an entire week with Deborah and Allen in Antigua (West Indies/Caribbean) the week before picking up the teens for sailing camp. We did not previously know Allen and Deborah. Still, they were considering hiring our son as a Kingdom Sail crew member in the future (as he is currently committed elsewhere this summer). We wanted to meet them in person and ensure everything was as good as it seemed online and during the Zoom interview/meeting. We can hardly put into words how amazing Allen and Deborah are. They are wonderful human beings who not only have a heart for sharing Jesus with the world, but they have hearts of extreme generosity and love towards others. Allen and Deborah don’t just talk the talk; they walk the walk. They are the hands and feet of Jesus, shining their light into dark, lonely, and hopeless communities and lives. They genuinely love others well!! We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Kingdom Sail, the teens who join on the sails, and all the communities we serve. God is going to do some amazing things through Kingdom Sail!! We not only highly recommend Kingdom Sail, but we also highly trust Allen and Deborah to be exceptional leaders and mentors in the life of our son (as he joins the crew and begins sailing for them) … and hopefully and prayerfully in the lives of your teens as well!!”

Whole, secure, & ready to chase God’s plans with every step.

“This trip has been truly life-changing. I arrived carrying feelings of inadequacy, but God met me here in a powerful way, reminding me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I’ve grown closer to Him than ever before, reigniting my passion and discipline to pursue His plan for my life. The crew’s kindness, patience, and unity made every moment memorable. From serving in local communities to learning teamwork on the boat, I leave feeling whole, secure, and deeply grateful. This experience pulled me away from the noise of everyday life and set my heart on fire for God’s glory. I believe everyone could benefit from a journey like this.”

An everlasting, soulful gift.

“Something beautiful happened in Hana's soul while she was on her Kingdom Sail journey. When she returned home, she was energized in her spirit and relationship with the Lord. She wanted to talk about all of the fun things like snorkeling with the rays and turtles, the beautiful beaches, quick warm rains, evening worship around a bonfire and shopping on the last day. But she also wanted to share the gratitude she had for where she came from after seeing poor neighborhoods and children who didn't have much. She also had confidence from learning the ropes of sailing and receiving her deckhand certificate. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone who wants to see their child grow in Christ, mature in mind and spirit, and simply gain spiritual tools to help them maneuver life's difficult paths in their future Allen and Deborah were so wonderful that Hana has decided she wants to be baptized by Allen in the Ocean if he would be willing.. Hana would like to go again next year and so does her younger brother. My husband and I are all for it and we never once worried about our teen while she was with Kingdom Sail. What a wonderful experience for her. We are so grateful to have found Kingdom Sail!”

I am free

“I loved swimming with the sea turtles; that was amazing. Also, worshipping at night on the beach, at a bonfire, and looking at the stars. It was so beautiful, and God was there, touching all our hearts. I'm going away knowing that I am free and that fear no longer has a hold on me. To anyone considering coming to Kingdom Sail, don't think about it and come. There's nothing to think about. It is literally amazing.”

I got closer to God

“Before the trip I wanted to get closer to God and make new friends. And actually, I met those expectations. I did get close to God and I made friends with every single person on this crew. I have learned to stop complaining when I’m bored as I have seen firsthand that the people in Antigua have next to nothing and I need to be grateful for the things I have. I also need to stay strong and keep reading my Bible because that will help me get closer to God.”

Enlightening

“The first mission trip was enlightening and a really good experience. To see the poverty that all those people were living in and how the children were still smiling and always happy even though they've been poverty. It's really awesome to get the opportunity to play with them and bring them joy”
